Following in the footsteps of Families that made their way to the Port of Dublin during the height of the Famine in Ireland in 1847. Although this is mainly a flat route, nevertheless it too has an abundance of historic sights clearly visible as you walk this route daily over a 6 or 8 day period. Starting in Co. Roscommon and making your way through the counties of Longford, WestMeath, Meath, Kildare and finally Dublin as you make your way to the finish at the Port of Dublin.
