This route is one of the longest registered ''Way Routes'' in Ireland. beside the recently introduced ''Wild Atlantic Way''. You will be following in the footsteps of O'Sullivan of Beara and his band of a 1000 supporters as they made their way from West Cork to the counties of Leitrim/Cavan in 1603.

Although the Way Route is 500 kms in total distance, not all of this route has the infrastructure in place for ideal overnight accommodation that C.W.T offers as part of their package.

We have carefully selected parts of this route that we deem ideal given the standard packages we have in place. This route offers both 7 and 9 day packages in the regions West Cork, Limerick/Tipperary and Roscommon/Leitrim and Cavan.
